Rules
Trout fishing is fly-oriented; pike fishing has dedicated boat, shore and night arrangements. Local published rules describe winter lure and deadbait approaches, but the current official booking instructions are the final authority. Best months and methods (Better Angler editorial suggestion, not a guarantee of catch rates): April-June and September-October for trout on buzzers, nymphs, dries and lures; late autumn and winter for authorised pike sessions.
