Coole Acres Fishery
There are three stunning lakes to choose from, and these are stocked with a wide range of fish in sizes to suit both the relaxing pleasure angler and the seasoned sport and specimen angler. All part of the Coole Acres Leisure complex
River Trent - Free Stretch, Burton
A long free stretch of the River Trent with good access from the town. Mixed coarse fishing with barbel, chub and bream, plus reliable predator sport in the colder months.
Stour Valley Nature Reserve (Dorset Stour)
1.5 mile stretch of the Dorset Stour. A beautiful council own section of the river with a public footpath running the entire length. It gets very busy with walkers, picnickers, swimmings and dogs in the summer months. Recommend early mornings, evenings or winter fishing. Free parking on surrounding roads. There's also a free carpark at the Kingfisher Barn Visitors Centre but please note entry and exit times as they lock the carpark at night.
Willow Bank Fishery
A well managed three lake day ticket complex with a mixed coarse lake, a specimen carp lake and a match lake. Level pegs, good parking and a friendly on site cafe make it a strong choice for a first visit.
