River Severn – Hampton Loade Left Bank

Hampton Loade Left is Birmingham Anglers Association's River Severn water on the left bank when looking downstream. The association describes more than three miles of continuous fishing, and its official map marks the stretch from Long Covert Spinney down towards the Hampton Loade ferry and National Trust car park. This permission applies to the mapped left bank, not the opposite bank or every nearby riverside path. The officially listed fish are barbel, chub, pike, roach and dace. The association recommends feeder and leger approaches, but anglers should assess the river conditions and available swims on arrival. Night fishing is not permitted here. Access is through BAA membership. Full adult membership costs £50 for the 2026 calendar year and expires on 31 December regardless of purchase date; no ordinary day-ticket arrangement has been verified. Members use the National Trust car park by the ferry without a parking fee, displaying their BAA identification to avoid a ticket. Its gate normally opens at 08:00 and locks at 18:00. Contact the BAA office in advance about permitted earlier access. The listed coordinate identifies this access area, not a fishing boundary.

Rules
