River Tone – Hankridge

River Tone – Hankridge is a Taunton Angling Association fishery on the River Tone in Somerset. It covers the section from Bridgwater Road at Bathpool down to the M5 motorway, slower and deeper than the water above. The association lists roach, chub, brown trout and pike among the fish found here. Winter roach and chub and summer stalking for chub and trout are typical. Access is controlled through Taunton Angling Association membership, so anglers should hold a current club permit and follow the association rules before fishing. Parking points, exact peg positions and ticket prices are not listed here. River levels on the Tone can change quickly after rain, so check conditions and any club notices before travelling, and confirm the current boundaries with the association.
