Town-centre left-bank River Nene fishing from South Bridge downstream to the Lock Pound. Stretch and boundaries: South Bridge downstream to Lock Pound. Habitat: Urban lowland river with lock/pound influence and mixed coarse-fish habitat. £6 public day membership and controller-confirmed river carp.

Rods: Follow current NNAC rules. Bait: No venue-specific carp bait restriction published. Hooks: No blanket barbless rule verified. Fish care: No fish removal; follow club fish-care rules. Access: Pedestrian access via Becketts Park, Trenery Way or Cattlemarket Road/Bridge Street footpath. Parking: Nearest listed car park: Midsummer Meadow pay-and-display. Other: No boat/kayak fishing, crayfish trapping or magnet fishing. Seasonal: Closed 15 March to 15 June inclusive. A valid Environment Agency rod licence is required.
