Billingshurst Angling Society

West Sussex society with Stockwoods Lake, Jubilee Fields Lake and Mulsey Farm Lake, plus River Arun fishing.

Billingshurst Angling Society was established in 1919 and offers coarse, specimen and match fishing on several stillwaters and around six miles of the River Arun in West Sussex. Its waters include Stockwoods Lake near Shillinglee, a specimen tench and carp venue, and Mulsey Farm Lake, also known as Ash Lake, south of Brinsbury College, both of which can be fished on a night ticket. The society also manages Jubilee Fields Lake, a purpose-built town lake in Billingshurst designed with easy access for younger and disabled anglers. A regular match calendar runs through the season, and the society keeps members informed of closures and conservation measures, such as temporary restrictions during low water, through its website and social media. Membership requires committee approval and adult places are capped each year.
