Frisby on the Wreake, Leicestershire

Broome Angling Society

Leicestershire coarse and match club with over a dozen lakes on the Frisby complex.

Broome Angling Society is a Leicestershire coarse club controlling more than a dozen stillwaters, most of them forming the Frisby lakes complex near Melton Mowbray. The waters suit pleasure, carp and match anglers, with lakes such as Colver, Jasons and Smiggies holding carp, skimmer bream, roach, perch, tench and crucians. The society runs weekly club matches on its own waters throughout the year, plus an away league on other venues. Membership is open to the public each season but numbers are capped, with a waiting list once full.
