Central Association of London and Provincial Angling Clubs (CALPAC)

Historic angling association offering rivers, canals and stillwaters across London and South East England.

The Central Association of London and Provincial Angling Clubs, widely known as CALPAC, is a long-established angling association founded in 1879. The association provides members with fishing opportunities across London and the South East, including stretches of the Rivers Kennet, Mole, Arun and Medway, sections of the Grand Union Canal and several stillwater venues. Its fishing caters for a variety of coarse-angling interests, from river fishing for barbel and chub to stillwater fishing for carp and tench. Named fisheries include Manor Pond in Surrey and Stew Pond, alongside its extensive river and canal portfolio. CALPAC offers individual and affiliated-club membership options, with some fisheries subject to additional permit arrangements. Current membership details and fishing rules are available through its official website.
