Crowborough, East Sussex

Crowborough & District Anglers' Association

Long-established East Sussex club with stillwaters across eleven locations plus river, canal and sea fishing.

Crowborough & District Anglers' Association was founded in 1948 by local men returning from war service, beginning with sea angling trips before expanding into freshwater fishing. Today the association offers members a large portfolio of around seventeen stillwaters spread across eleven locations in East Sussex and Kent, together with stretches of the River Eden and the River Rother and sections of the Royal Military Canal. Its waters range from small, intimate ponds to larger lakes holding specimen carp and tench, with rules on close seasons and tackle set to protect fish stocks and respect landowner agreements. Membership is open, with adult, junior, senior and short-term options available online, by post or through partner tackle shops. The club supports young anglers through organised junior matches and keeps members informed through its website, newsletters and social media channels.
