Coarse and game fishing on ponds, canal and rivers around Cwmbran.

Cwmbran Angling Association provides coarse and game fishing across several waters around Cwmbran, including the three Llantarnam Ponds, the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal, the Afon Lwyd, the River Monnow and Dowlais Brook. Mixed coarse species and brown trout are present. The association was relaunched in 2026 following restoration work at Llantarnam Ponds.
