The Derbyshire Angling Federation fishes around three miles of the River Derwent and River Ecclesbourne in the Derwent Valley near Duffield. The water suits pleasure, specimen and game anglers, and the federation also runs a winter match league and club matches for long-standing trophies. Access is by season ticket, issued at renewal nights each spring, and an AGM is held every January. Volunteers run working parties to maintain the banks and fishing platforms.
