Large Somerset club with River Frome coarse and trout fishing and the Lighthouse Lake.
Established in 1931, Frome & District Angling Association has around 1,000 members and owns fishing rights along parts of the Somerset Frome. Members fish the River Frome, the River Mells and Egford Brook at Vallis Vale, stretches near Frome such as the Dog Field, Poplars and Orchard, and waters on the Somerset Levels, with trout fishing reserved for members. The club's stillwater is the Lighthouse Lake. Members also get discounted day tickets at a range of nearby commercial fisheries and exchange tickets with around fourteen neighbouring clubs.
