Established in 1937, Harrow AS offers specimen carp and coarse fishing on five Colne Valley lakes.

Harrow Angling Society was established in 1937 and offers specimen carp and coarse fishing on five lakes in the Colne Valley. Its waters are Harefield No1, a gravel pit of around 7 acres south of Harefield village; Harefield No2, a mature 50-acre gravel pit in South Harefield; Harefield No4, a 14-acre wooded pit bordered by the Grand Union Canal and the River Frays; Rowley, a 4½-acre estate lake; and the Wildfowl Lake between Harefield and Uxbridge. The lakes suit everything from float fishing for roach, rudd, tench and perch to longer sessions for bream and carp. New members must be proposed by an existing member, and a waiting list is in operation. Membership runs from 1 June to 31 May.
