Highbridge Angling Association

Coarse and match club with stillwaters around Highbridge and River Brue fishing.

Highbridge Angling Association is a Somerset coarse fishing club based in Highbridge, which says it has served the local community since 1878. Its waters include urban stillwaters such as Newtown Lake, a lake of about four and a half acres set within a housing estate, and Apex Park Lake, both holding carp, bream, roach, rudd and pike. The club also fishes a stretch of the River Brue and uses the Walrow ponds near its base for matches. A programme of club matches runs through the season, and season permits can be bought online. Contact is through the club's published email address.
