Llandysul Angling Association

Angling association controlling around 30 miles of the River Teifi from Cellan to Newcastle Emlyn.

Llandysul Angling Association manages approximately 30 miles of fishing on the River Teifi, Wales' longest river contained wholly within the country. Beats run from the Cellan area near Lampeter, through Llanybydder, Llandysul and Pentrecwrt, down towards Newcastle Emlyn, offering a mix of intimate upper-river fly water and wider lower-river pools. The association supports salmon, sea trout (sewin), wild brown trout and some grayling fishing, with fly and spinning encouraged and bait fishing prohibited on club water. Permits covering day, week and season durations, including junior and student rates, are issued through the Porth Hotel in Llandysul, which also acts as the club's information point and holds beat maps for visiting anglers.
