Essex coarse club with a large portfolio of stillwaters plus river and canal fishing around Maldon.
Maldon Angling Society is a long-established coarse fishing club based in Maldon, Essex. It controls a sizeable group of stillwaters in the area, including gravel pits, reservoirs and carp lakes such as Slough House, Little London, Heron Hall, Bog Grove and the newer specimen water Willow Grove, together with stretches of river and canal locally. Carp, bream, tench, chub, perch and pike all feature. The society runs a full match calendar with senior, concession and junior fixtures and fields a team in the Essex Interclub League. A fishery management team and volunteer work parties handle swim building, bank clearance and stocking, and members receive a quarterly newsletter with fishery news and results.
