Otley Angling Club

Community angling club offering coarse and fly fishing on the River Wharfe and its own pond near Otley.

Otley Angling Club is a member of the Angling Trust affiliated Anglers' Co-operative Association and controls fishing on the River Wharfe from above Otley Bridge on the north bank up to Caley Lodge on Pool Road, providing both coarse and fly fishing. Separately, the club runs its own pond at Three Corner Field, off Pool Road near the Knotford Nook turn, which is used for coarse match and pleasure fishing, including a well-supported junior fishing match held annually. The club describes itself as an inclusive and community-driven organisation, placing emphasis on the welfare of its stock, its environment, and its members, with ongoing efforts to grow membership and support junior anglers. It is run by an elected chairman and president.
