Oxford umbrella association of affiliated clubs with Thames, Cherwell, Oxford Canal and Hinksey Lake fishing.
The Oxford & District Angling Association is an umbrella body made up of affiliated clubs, whose members gain access to the association's waters around Oxford. Its fishing includes a number of River Thames stretches in and around the city, such as Medley, Folly Bridge, Donnington and Iffley, along with lengths of the River Cherwell near Enslow, Tackley and Kirtlington and several miles of the Oxford Canal between Lower Heyford and Bletchingdon. Hinksey Lake, a long, narrow water in New Hinksey, holds roach, tench and rudd. Anglers usually join one of the affiliated clubs rather than the association directly, and new clubs are encouraged to affiliate.
