Sudbury & Long Melford District Angling Association

Miles of River Stour plus club stillwaters around Sudbury.

Sudbury & Long Melford District Angling Association controls long stretches of the River Stour along with stillwaters at Boxford, Rushbrook and Joe's Road. Species across its waters include bream, carp, crucians, perch, pike, roach, rudd and tench, and recent stockings have added carp and skimmer bream to the lakes. The association runs Wednesday club matches through the year and sells memberships and river day tickets online and through local tackle shops.
