University Angling Club

Independent river club on the Cam and Bourn Brook at Grantchester.

Despite the name, University Angling Club is an independent coarse club open to local anglers, with no need for any link to the University of Cambridge. It controls private, gated fishing on the River Cam and Bourn Brook at Cantelupe Farm, Grantchester, with private parking. Members run work parties to keep swims open, help clear Himalayan balsam and trap signal crayfish with the Cam Valley Forum, and share regular catch reports of chub, roach, dace and perch.
