Vale of Clwyd Angling Club

North Wales game-fishing club with extensive River Clwyd and Elwy fishing plus Llyn Clywedog.

Vale of Clwyd Angling Club was formed in 2015 through the amalgamation of two local angling clubs, bringing together a long tradition of game fishing in North Wales. The club provides extensive fishing along the River Clwyd, from waters above Ruthin towards St Asaph, together with selected beats on the River Elwy and smaller tributaries. Members can pursue brown trout, sea trout, salmon and other species according to the water and applicable regulations. The club also offers access to Llyn Clywedog, a members-only stillwater in Clocaenog Forest, which provides trout fishing. Additional opportunities are available through certain ticket-sharing arrangements with other angling clubs. Membership applications and current information are available through the club's official website.
